Using Floating Powder Pigments and Diamon Picture Varnish, you can create truly metallic colors.
Paint liquid gold, silver and copper colors onto your Resin Coaster Edges
and several other surfaces like wood, metal or gypsum.
Floating Powder Pigments are fine, dry powders and need to be mixed with the Diamon Picture Varnish to make an iridescent metal effect paint.
Instructions:
Mix 3 parts Floating Powder Pigments and 2 parts Diamon Picture Varnish with a painting knife or your brush shortly before application.
Tips and tricks:
The metal is shinier if you mix the powder and medium right before use.
If required, you can thin with Turpentine Oil.
Make sure to wear a mask if working with powdered pigments to avoid inhalation.
Pre-tests are recommended prior to the application!
