Pewter Art

The fine art of metal embossing or metal relief, known as Pewter Repousse (French) is an ancient art form used to impart a design upon malleable metal sheets and is always crafted by hand. Suitable metals include pewter, aluminum or copper. This craft is also referred to as repujado en lamina (Spanish) or Pewter work (British).
