• A smooth, glossy surface is recommended for best results.

• For a smaller crackle effect, apply a thin layer of paste and allow it to dry.

• For a larger crackle effect, the supplied instructions recommend applying a thin layer of PVA glue and waiting 20–30 minutes before applying the paste.

• Avoid applying the product too quickly, as this may interfere with the shrinking process needed for cracks to form.
